In response to this wall bullshit, Mexicans have begun pushing for a boycott of all U.S. Corporations. I say we join them!
First, we have to face an ugly fact about our “Democracy” lately. Protesting just does not have that much power, nor do our politicians. While I think we should continue to protest and to contact our politicians, we also have to communicate with the real power brokers in this country, via our wallets.
Remember when Arizona was going to pass the religious discrimination bill (SB 1062), well it was corporations who stopped it. Convincing Brewer to veto it.
Many U.S. CEO’s will now be advising “he who shall not be named.” Let’s face it, these are the people we have to get to. We have to start boycotting every major U.S. corporation, especially the odious ones who will work with this administration.
His idiotness is naming an advisory council that includes Elon Musk, Travis Kalanik (UBER), and Indra Nooyi (Pepsi). It will also include people from Google, Amazon, and others.
Let’s make these people hear our voice. Stop using their services. No Uber, No Amazon, No Disney, No Pepsi, etc.
Let’s show our Mexican brothers and sisters that we are with them, not this POS who fancies himself a dictator.
